Beginners Green Smoothie
1 stalk celery
3-inch piece of cucumber
1 carrot
1 handful of spinach leaves
4 sprig of parsley leaves without stems
½ apple, cored and seeded
¼ cup water or tomato juice
¼ cup ice cubes
If you have a juicer, put all of the veggies through the juicer and omit ice cubes and water.
If using a blender or a food processor, put all ingredients except the ice into the blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Add ice and blend again. Drink right away.
